SPILL ALBUM REVIEW: THE CHRIS ROLLING SQUAD – DAMN YOU ALL TO…HELL

The Chris Rolling Squad

THE CHRIS ROLLING SQUAD
DAMN YOU ALL TO…HELL
CIMEX RECORDS/GHOST HIGHWAY RECORDINGS

An absolute pleasure to my earholes, this album is a true earworm, weaving its way in and out of my brain. The Chris Rolling Squad’s Damn You All To…Hell delivers a punk experience that is both exhilarating and refreshing. While it embodies the raw essence of punk, it stands out for its extreme cleanliness, with crisp and clear production that enhances both the vocal and instrumental elements. For those who crave the punk aesthetic but find it challenging to embrace the traditional grittiness, this album will likely resonate deeply.

Spanning 15 tracks, just over 38 minutes, Damn You All To…Hell is a throat-ripping throttle that keeps you engaged from start to finish. One of the standout tracks, “Night Got Me Runnin’”, evokes a kind of music hypnosis, as if you’re strung out on peyote, drawing you into its mesmerising rhythm. The album also features later tracks like “Cannonball Holocaust”, which takes a different approach with a purely instrumental composition that showcases a thick, rock-and-roll vibe. “’Til The Day I Die” stands out with its infusion of metal elements that complement the punk foundation, adding depth and variety to the album.

Overall, Damn You All To…Hell is a fabulous band that masterfully balances raw energy with polished execution. Their clean, crisp punk creates an engaging listening experience that makes you want more. Whether you’re a die-hard punk fan or looking for something fresh, this album is worth your time.

About the Author
Victoria Love-Rainbow
I am an avid connoisseur of music experiences but never had the courage to share them until now. My inspiration comes from the '90s alternative and punk rock music I grew up listening to. Bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, Eve 6 and Everclear shaped my worldview and taste in music. I want to capture some of their energy and spirit in my stories. Thanks for checking out my bio and my work!
