Vienna based sci-fi pop trio Lucy Dreams again provide a soundtrack for the future, this time for experiences on the intersection of real and virtual world. With β”Experiencer”, David Reiterer, Philipp PrΓΌckl and the artificial band member Lucy explore this intersection by presenting what they created right there, at the portal between reality and virtuality: a song made by man in cooperation with a machine. Acoustic guitars representing the real world, ethereal synths the digital universe. The two spheres, nowadays inextricably linked with each other, can be heard exchanging signals in the chorus: “You gotta be someone I see. So you can hear, and I can breathe.”
