So many artists are currently getting into that kind of languid musical stream that crosses a number of musical borders and PR people and critics attempting ease of use, label it as singer songwriter. Yet quite a number of artists that have been (and still are there) and deserve more attention have been doing it for a while now, Maryland’s Michael Nau being one of them.

He has been coming up with releases regularly since 2016, with Popfly album being his latest. There is a prevailing quality throughout all of his releases, with Popfly simply confirming the fact – Nau has that songwriting quality that just doesn’t fail, transforming his usual penchant for simple life themes into music that just flow along and charms the listener with quite some ease. On the surface, it all sounds quite simple, but is usually quite complicated to come about, taking tons of talent and effort to sound so easy on the ear. And it surely does.
