When you have in mind that what you have in front of you is a 5-song EP (formally a debut one at that) and that its full title is “sigh some more” (because it releases endorphins and reduces anxiety) you just might get the notion that the whole thing is a bit too pretentious for its own good.

Yet, when you dive into the five songs here, you realize that there is no pretentiousness here, just some great songs that point to a talent that just might bring us some great music further on. After all, Virginia Beach native Josy whose project this was in a band before (Ladada) and already played with the likes of E Street Band’s Jake Clemmons, and the five songs here have been worked and reworked for a while now (one was originally written when Josy was in high school).

Actually, if these five songs are something of an indicator, we are set to hear some great thing from Josy and the Mind Readers.
