Snail in the Clouds might be just the second solo album for Italian songwriter and vocalist Michele Ducci, but he comes to it with ample experience with M+A band and collaborations with his partner Letizia Mandolesi,with whom he also created a musical short film, The Great Book of Nature, is an official selection for the 2026 Venice Shorts Film Festival.

The new album is again partnership with Mandolesi as well as producer Simon Milner and with the help of the two, Ducci has created quite an intriguing set of art pop tunes with the story lines within lyrics populated by some fantasy creatures (hybrids – primarily a cross between scorpions, snails, and humans), that seem to fit quite well with Ducci’s quirky art pop songwriting style and quite mellow vocals, that suit his music so well, and essentially coming up with an intriguing and utterly listenable album
