SPILL ALBUM REVIEW: YUNGBLUD AND AEROSMITH – ONE MORE TIME

Yungblud and Aerosmith

YUNGBLUD AND AEROSMITH
ONE MORE TIME
CAPITOL RECORDS/UNIVERSAL MUSIC

The unexpected collaboration between Yungblud and Aerosmith arrives like a lightning bolt to the heart of rock music, proving that the genre thrives most when it bridges generations rather than divides them. It’s amazing to hear a new rock legend in the making paired with an all-time rock legend, and the result is a project that feels both daringly modern and comfortingly classic.

Across the album, the songs perfectly combine both artists’ signature rock sounds. Aerosmith’s unmistakable swagger, marked by gritty guitar riffs, blues-soaked melodies, and that unmistakable sense of drama that blends seamlessly with Yungblud’s explosive energy and emotionally charged vocal delivery. Instead of one overshadowing the other, the two artists meet in the middle, elevating each track into something larger than either could have crafted alone.

There’s a strong thread of nostalgia woven throughout the record. Longtime Aerosmith fans will immediately recognize echoes of the band’s golden era. But Yungblud injects a fresh pulse, ensuring the album never becomes a duplicate of what has already been done. In many ways, he was the perfect artist to take on a collaboration of this scale. Bold enough to stand beside legends, yet respectful enough to honour what came before him.

Ultimately, this album will easily become a fan favourite for anyone who loves both classic rock grit and modern rock urgency. It’s a rare crossover that truly works and is a powerful reminder of rock’s enduring ability to evolve without losing its soul.
