MORGAN CAMERON ROSS – “PLEASE DON’T LET ME DOWN”
SINGLE (2018)
Independent
Toronto
March 16, 2018
Toronto singer/songwriter Morgan Cameron Ross is back with a new tune.Β Soulful and haunting, “Please Don’t Let Me Down” is about his daily challenges of living with mental health issues, a topic so close to many of us. Morgan has been a champion for mental health for a long time; he is also frontman for Toronto’s Bellwoods, a collaboration with Alan Soddy of Stars, whose “Get Back Up” was the theme song for the Blu Matter Project, a ” not-for-profit organization whose mission is to offer a new and holistic approach to support people living with Depression and/or Bipolar Disorder”.
“Please Don’t Let Me Down” describes the constant daily struggle those living with mental health issues battle on a daily basis.Β Self sabotage, confusion, disappointment, are the common thread that tie us all together. With lyrics that come from the deepest of darkness, a beautiful gentle melody, and a voice infused with the pain of personal experience, you know Morgan Cameron Ross is real.Β He lives inside so many of us.
So grab the tissues and hold on.Β We’re going for a ride.
Heading to the darkness,
Hiding from the light of day.
Things are going well..
They always go this way.
