SPILL TAB AND BOYLIFE TEAM ON NEW SINGLE “PARANOIA” OUT NOW
NEW SONG ACTS AS PREVIEW FOR DELUXE VERSION OF SPILL TAB’S DEBUT ALBUM ANGIEANGIEANGIE OUT FEBRUARY 18 ON BECAUSE MUSIC
spill tab has returned with “Paranoia,” a delicate and emotionally charged new single featuring longtime friend and collaborator boylife. The new song acts as the first preview of AngieAngieAngie, the expanded deluxe edition of her debut album ANGIE, set for release February 18, 2026 via Because Music and featuring four previously unreleased tracks. Anchored in soft-focus production and steeped in the blurred edges of longing and detachment, “Paranoia” highlights both artists’ ability to translate emotional nuance into intimate, slow-burn alt-pop.
“I wrote ‘Paranoia’ all at once which is such a rare occurrence for me,” spill tab explains, “but it did feel like I was able to put down all these things that had accumulated on my chest, and write over these insanely beautiful chords Micah had recorded on bass. One day months later I played the song for Ryan [boylife] who I’ve been such a fan of for a long time—I initially asked him to sing some harmonies over the track—but he mentioned wanting to write a verse and it ended up becoming the second verse of the song. He’s added such a depth and rich layer to the whole thing, and I feel so lucky he’s become a part of it.”
To celebrate the release, spill tab joined Zane Lowe on Apple Music today for an interview and two live performances.
The arrival of “Paranoia” signals the next chapter of the ANGIE saga. With AngieAngieAngie, spill tab extends the album’s emotional and sonic landscape—deepening the energy, experimentation, and sharp songwriting that shaped the original project. “The new songs are a collection of tunes that were made around or shortly after the time ANGIE came together,” she states. “Similar to the rest of the album, I wanted to explore a ton of different musical influences that made and continue to make me excited about creating music, and keep growing upon the world of ANGIE while maintaining the desire to deliver honest songwriting, and thoughtful production.”
