ARK IDENTITY – “SCREENS”
INDEPENDENT
Noah Mroueh of ARK IDENTITY is continuing a string of single releases with the atmospheric and melancholic indie pop release, “Screens,” which reflects on digital isolation and is taken from the upcoming debut EP, ANNDALE, out on November 8th.
Pulling influences from Bon Iver as well as Coldplay’s Parachutes LP, “Screens” features plaintive vocals, acoustic guitar, and shimmering synthesizers. ARK IDENTITY uses pedal effects to give the song an otherworldly feel, layering twinkling guitar onto the track which lends a dreamy quality to the feelings of loss communicated in Mroueh’s lyrics.
ARK IDENTITY is the dream pop solo project of Toronto’s Noah Mroueh. A singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Noah creates immersive soundscapes praised for their “addictively good” melodies. His music weaves dream pop with the boundless realms of psychedelia, offering listeners a passage into spaces of reflection and discovery.
ARTIST QUOTE
“The lyrics paint a vivid picture of drifting through euphoric highs and nostalgic memories, all while being anchored to the screens that define our modern existence.”
