The Clamor, outfit of NYC based musician, producer, author (and more) Aaron Louis, are back with a fervor and set to unveil four new singles this Spring/Summer. Leading track “Trick & Bout,” channels a captivating New Wave/Post Punk vibe and explores the notion of living without constraints. The single delves into the excitement of embracing risk, and finding solace amidst chaos and spontaneity. The entire project is meticulously crafted, with production, tracking, and mixing helmed by Jeff Berner at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY. The Clamor’s musical lineup boasts Aaron Louis on vocals, guitar, and synth, accompanied by Gary Atturio on bass, Jeff Berner on guitar and backing vocals, Robert Cimitile on marimba, Wells Hartman on synth, Omer Leibovitz and Kirk Schoenherr on guitar, and Layton Weedeman on drums and 10 other various musicians. Assisting in the engineering process are Ross Colombo and Leah Gutman, while mastering is expertly handled by Alan Douches at West West Side Music in NYC. Cover art is by Bill Smith who is responsible for over 2000 music covers from the likes of Kate Bush, Genesis, The Cure, The Jam, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Van Morrison, Queen, The Rolling Stones and many others.
Aaron Louis is currently the Director of Audio Visual at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the singer and songwriter for the new wave/punk band The Clamor, on the Board of Directors at 3-Legged Dog Media + Theater Group, on the advisory board of Ideas Beyond Borders, on the advisory board of This is 42, and a freelance Producer. The Clamor’s first album came out in March 2023. Aaron began his career as a musician, and after several years as the principal singer/songwriter for the eleven-piece acoustic punk band, DANDELION WINE, he went on to release a solo album called IF SO on Tropia Records in 2000. Aaron was the in-house booking agent for four live music venues in central Florida: Up & Atom, Black-Eyed Susan, The Main Street Pier, and The Underground, producing over 1000 shows with regional and national bands. Aaron was also the owner of Galaxie 500, a live music venue and performance space in northern Florida. Aaron currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
