Gregory Stafford is here again all the way from New Orleans!
New Orleans legend jazz musician Gregg Stafford came to Toronto for the 15th Annual Gregg Stafford New Orleans Stomp. Grossman’s Tavern on Spadina Avenue held the perfect ambience for his two packed shows with dozens in attendance this past weekend.
Organizer Toby Hughes expressed that he was satisfied with the outcome, “I am very happy with two ‘sold out’ seatings! Unsurpassed talent on stage backing Mr. Gregg Stafford! I’d love to get some sponsorship for this event to take it to the next level. “
Special thanks goes out to the event planners along with a great set of Toronto’s finest jazz musicians including Toby Hughes on alto sax, Charlotte McAfee-Brunner on trombone, Reide Kaiser on piano, Brian Sasaki on banjo, Colin Bray on bass, and drummer Chuck Clarke.
This year’s show was a real treat for Toronto music fans.
