NXNE 2026 – BIANCA ESPINO

Mississauga’s Bianca Espino made her NXNE debut at Cassette inside The Gladstone House at 8:30 PM instead of 8 PM on a breezy and cool Saturday night as more people started to trickle in to catch dinner and a show. Espino along with her bandmates played songs from her debut EP Second Nature, which released last year as well as two cover songs.

Espino also performed an unreleased track titled “Rock It Slow And Steady.” The song boasts relatable lyrics about being in a relationship and wanting to take it slow and steady as it gives off vibes in the venue as a couple smiled feeling content while others nodded to the beat and having a good time.

One of the cover songs Espino sang was “Alesis” by Mk.gee off from his 2024 record Two Star & The Dream Police. Espino’s cover did it justice as she brought energy along with her bandmates and they did little cues to communicate mid-performance.

There were great vibes all around the venue at the final weekend of NXNE as Espino shows vocal range from her EP and cover songs exploring heartbreak, self-discovery, and connection.
