YSN Fab lit up The Painted Lady on Friday night for Canadian Music Week. Garnering attention for his impressive wordplay and storytelling, the Winnipeg rapper had the crowd hyped for his performance. ‘YSN YSN’ echoed through the bar on Bathurst Street as Fab rapped his heart out in front of a small audience. “Soul Fly”, “Love Scars”, and “Winter City” were the standout tracks of his set. Though the audience was sparse, Fab’s passion was infectious and quickly had people shuffling to the front for a better look. His energetic stage presence and dynamic delivery captivated the crowd, making every moment of his performance memorable. Fab’s marketable sound and ability to connect with the audience highlighted his potential to put Winnipeg on the map, something he has been striving to do for the past few years.
