KILLY
@ THE PHOENIX CONCERT THEATRE, TORONTO
JUNE 6, 2024
KILLY is arguably the biggest name on the Canadian Music Week roster for 2024. His performance on Thursday night proved the hometown product can still get shows popping. “After 2 years of having my shows shutdown in Toronto I’m finally able to return & headline” he wrote in an Instagram post promoting the concert. Fans were ecstatic to see him, crowding the front of the stage in anticipation. KILLY performed classics like “No Sad No Bad”, “Doomsday”, “PYRO” and platinum hit “Killamonjaro” to the delight of the audience. His genuine excitement was recognizable by the crowd, who made sure his energy was reciprocated. Moshpits formed at the turn of every track and most of the crowd knew every single lyric. The buzz was undeniable, KILLY was wholeheartedly having fun, throwing water into the crowd and at one point brought a fan on stage just to have him jump into a crowdsurf. It feels good to see KILLY finally receive the love he deserves after being barricaded from it.
