Kamino got on the decks at The Wiggle Room on Bathurst Street for the last day of Canadian Music Week. The UK-born DJ was killing his set, keeping bass-heavy beats flowing through the night. The obviously good music kept a consistent population on the dance floor. However, what the bar had going for it with music was thrown off by the décor.

As someone who had never been to The Wiggle Room, I felt like I had just walked into Bikini Bottom. Artificial vegetation draped off the ceiling, while old boom boxes stacked up against the wall, the central pillar was painted in a lava pattern. Pool tables and arcade machines laid dormant since most people either stayed with their groups near the bar or were on the dancefloor. The unfortunate circumstances took away from Kamino, who otherwise had an amazing set.
