When great vocal harmonies align, magic sparks fly through aural space, and it doesn’t matter what genre of music is involved, although, very often, those harmonies are rooted in more traditional music forms like folk, that, at the same time, make you forget about tradition and make such music quite timeless.

That is exactly the feel you get from the new music found on Wild and Clear and Blue, the new album by I’m With Her, a sort of a musical collective that combines all the talents of three female singer songwriters, Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan, and Sara Watkins, all multi-GRAMMY winners (7 wins, 31 nominations collectively). And what you can hear here makes it no wonder that they garnered all those wins and nominations, as they truly deserve them, especially when they do, like here, with producer Josh Kaufman—a member of Bonny Light Horseman and multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger and producer who’s worked with Bob Weir and The National, who was able to catch all the sparkle and shine that combined talents of Jarosz, O’Donovan and Watkins were able to bring us here.
