FOLK BITCH TRIO
NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME
JAGJAGUWAR

Some might raise their eyebrows to the name of this Australian trio, most others wouldn’t care less, but what nobody will question after listening to their debut album Now Would Be A Good Time, is that there is something special happening and that we just might have a new musical sensation on our hands.
Heide Peverelle, Jeanie Pilkington, and Gracie Sinclair, who are Folk Bitch Trio have been friends since high school and have obviously developed a strong bond that has created a very delicate and detailed musical synergy here.
Folk Bitch Trio operate that seemingly well-trodden ground between traditional folk and singer-songwriter genre (new or old), but they do it from a very fresh, modern perspective, coming up with intricate songwriting and some incredible harmonies, that at times border on angelic, while at the same time being able to present their individual voices as an indelible part of a trio.
When Folk Bitch Trio came up with such distinguished, mature music so early on, what should we expect from them next, then?
