No, you probably haven’t heard of Ciska Ciska (yet). After all, at the age of 25, Belgian singer songwriter Ciska Dhaenens who is behind this moniker has only four singles under her belt, all combined on her debut EP Angel. After all, Dhaenens didn’t even bother to open a persona webpage yet.

Still, make a mind note (her debut album coming this September), as with her songwriting and vocal capabilities that are amply shown on these four songs here, she is bound to make some waves.

It is her quite unique and inventive approach to songwriting that brings quite a few jazzy elements to her folk-inclined songs and her quite impressive vocal range that already makes her stand out. And it is quite a feat to be able to do that in just four songs. Ciska Ciska is already a name to remember.
