Orgy’s sophomore studio album, Vapor Transmission, the eagerly awaited follow up to the triumphal Candyass, made its debut on Oct 10, 2000, maintaining the successful formula of its sci- fi themed predecessor, and featuring hit singles “Fiction (Dreams In Digital)”, and “Opticon”. Despite its success and critical acclaim, the Vapor Transmission has been notably absent on vinyl until now.

In collaboration with Orgy, Real Gone Music presents a long-awaited vinyl reissue of Vapor Transmission. Remastered by Mike Milchner of Sonic Vision, the clear with red and yellow “plasma” record is enclosed in a captivating gatefold jacket. The album’s eagerly anticipated pressing comprises of 14 tracks, seven per side, featuring bonus track “The Spectrum”. This marks the vinyl debut for the second of two of Orgy’s turn-of-the-century records, addressing persistent demands for a vinyl release.

The red & yellow “plasma” translucent disc comes in an archive quality inner sleeve which was a pleasant departure from traditional paper sleeves.  The gate fold outer sleeve depicts the album artwork crisply. No additional inner sheets, download cards or posters accompanied the disc. Each member’s contribution is audibly clear and present throughout. No audible clicks or pops during playback. Minimal dirt and paper accumulation which is attributable to the inner sleeve quality. Vapor Transmission is on par with Real Gone Music’s recent releases, this pressing should be met with praise, warranting further pressings.
