Regarding the track, Kenny commented, “keep a window open// is a song that is an ode to my roots and day one inspirations. I worked on this record after playing my largest shows ever with Blink 182 and thought of this to be my goodbye to summer.”
Kenny hasn’t slowed down in 2023. He just released his critically acclaimed BLINK AND YOU’LL MISS IT// EP, which Ones To Watch raved, “The three-track body of work is full of high-octane instrumentation and raw lyricism that serves as a peek into the artist’s psyche during a time of evolution,” while tracks off the EP like “SABOTAGE//” garnered widespread acclaim reception out the gate. Stereogum hailed it as “hard-charging,” and Brooklyn Vegan asserted, “The song embraces tons of styles–pop punk and indie rock among them–for a unique sound and blunt lyrics.”
Kenny is fresh off his North American blink-182 tour run. He will hit the stage next at several European festivals across Austria, Netherlands, and Belgium before rounding it out at Reading & Leeds in the UK in late August.
This fall, Kenny is set to embark on the RAISED BY WOLVES TOUR across North America with support from Groupthink. It notably marks his first headline run since 2021. This jaunt kicks off on September 27 in Boston, MA at Paradise Rock Club, rolls through major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes on November 3 in Orlando, FL at The Abbey.
