Moon Blue
The Moonlight Disco

There are two ways by which an artist can make the title of his record fit perfectly with the music within. One is to compose the music and then find a fitting title, the other is the have the title in mind and then tailor the music accordingly.
Whichever method George Appleton, aka Moon Blue chose for his debut EP, its title and the six tracks within are a perfect fit for each other.
The music is certainly love-themed with some languid, slow-burning grooves serving as a backbone for equally languid and slow-burning melodies, something you may encounter at a moonlight (or very early morning) disco, when all the fast-paced dancing is done but you still need some slow moving (on the dance floor or elsewhere).
Appleton obviously has that sound both in his ears and in his fingers and was able to sublimely transfer that into the music on this EP.
This one has the possibility of turning into a late-night cult favourite.
