SOUTH WEST SHARES “FOR YOU” | A VIDEO ABOUT LOVE, ADDICTION AND HOLDING ON
INDEPENDENT
South West is a four-piece band from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, combining alternative rock, pop hooks, punk energy and country/roots influences. Written by Stephen Williams, “For You” explores both sides of a relationship affected by addiction: loving someone who is struggling, and being the person trying to survive and make changes for someone who matters. Love, regret and hope sit alongside the difficulty of staying connected when change does not come easily.
The official video extends those themes through a collaboration with filmmakers in Prince Albert. “For You” is from the forthcoming album Perpetual Stew. Recent support includes a Rock 102 Saskatoon interview and debut spin, alongside CTV Saskatoon coverage of the band.
