SHEBAD – “ENTROPY”
A SPILL EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE
‘Entropy’ was written about singer Claire Voy’s decade-long experience of living with endometriosis, a chronic
disease that affects roughly 190 million women worldwide, and impacts multiple organ and bodily systems.
Formally diagnosed just this year, ‘Entropy’ is an opportunity for Claire – through SHEBAD – to connect with
others who are also living with chronic illnesses and navigating the physical, emotional, and material impacts
of living in a body that feels like it’s falling apart.
‘Entropy’ is the second single (following ‘Dancing Nonstop’) from an unannounced sophomore album for
SHEBAD, developed on themes of female and queer resilience, the heart-opening power of dance, and
maintaining the sanctity of creativity and humanity in our rapidly destabilizing world. The album will be
released in Spring of 2027.
ARTIST QUOTE
“I cannot overstate how significantly endometriosis has changed my life physically and spiritually, and my
journey with music is deeply intertwined with this experience. My hope is to explore this theme throughout our
upcoming album, and untangle years of medical trauma, pain, and grief in a way that is empowering, healing,
and connective.” ~Claire Voy, SHEBAD
