After a lengthy 2 year break, indie-alt artist good company has returned with his first single “MIME” off of his forthcoming EP titled, CANINE. Reminiscent of artists such as Pinegrove, and Truman Sinclair, good company has rediscovered his sound on the cathartic climax to this upcoming EP, exploring the complicated mix of emotions one feels nearing the end of a long-term relationship.

“I think MIME is probably one of my favourite songs that I’ve ever written. It’s a small glimpse into what else is to come, but I think this song sets the tone for the rest of the project really well. Over time the message behind the song has flowed and changed the same way in which my life has, but I really love the idea that songwriting can work like that. I’m just incredibly excited and inspired to be releasing music again. Very eager to show everyone what else I’ve been working on.”
