Since forming in 2024, their early career has been a whirlwind of sold-out shows, festival appearances, celebrity moments, and more supporters along the way. In support of their debut single “Scroll My Life Away,” they played a sold-out tour in England, and the song was played on radio stations all around the world. It has had around 14,500 Spotify streams at the time of writing.

Their debut vinyl EP, MMXXV, was announced for release in November 2025, but completely sold out in the presales and gig ticket bundles, four months before it was due to hit the shelves. A copy has been seen advertised on a record collectors’ group for six times the original price.

At Kendal Calling, Luke was given the opportunity to play a secret (unadvertised) acoustic set, word got out it was happening, and the tent was rammed with people singing along on the Sunday afternoon.

Their second single, “Before My Eyes,” was released in November 2025 and is taken from the debut vinyl EP, MMXXV. The release party show sold out three months in advance, and further shows around England are planned to promote it. In early 2026, they are playing with Spangled, Crystal Tides, Stanleys, Alright, The Public Eyes, and are headlining a show in Manchester City Centre for the first time, advertised as Manchester’s Next Gen Rock & Roll Stars. This sold out in seven days, five months before the gig. They have played on stage with two-time number one album heroes, The Lottery Winners, and have also become friendly with other emerging bands like Florentenes. Almost unbelievably, Luke was even invited backstage to meet Bruce Springsteen prior to him taking to the stage at Manchester’s Co-Op Arena in the Summer. 2025 has been one heck of a year for the band.

Radio stations, podcasts, various journalists, and influencers have picked up on the band; they have been used in the end credits of an Australian sports show and have enjoyed some wonderful reviews from publications around the world. They have even been featured on the front page of both The Manchester Evening News and The Bolton News in the Summer of 2025.

The Radio Addicts have a wonderful way of galvanising an audience while making more friends and supporters with every show. Sometimes Luke’s showmanship has been compared to Robbie Williams, and one DJ suggested they have the sound of The Wombats crossed with The Buzzcocks.

They have been successful at, and are a great fit for, daytime slots at festivals to warm up the audience, and have taken to main stages without any fear. They work their socks off promoting every show, knowing every opportunity matters more than the last. They are young, energetic, hungry, and bursting to entertain you.
