Nashville-based band Palm Ghosts is thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated remix record titled Deconstructed on July 21st. The album features an array of captivating re-imaginations of Palm Ghosts’ original songs, showcasing the band’s distinctive
sound in a fresh and innovative way.
Deconstructed unveils a collection of carefully crafted remixes that breathe new life into Palm Ghosts’ discography. The album serves as a testament to the band’s willingness to explore new musical landscapes, allowing listeners to experience their songs in a whole new light. With each track thoughtfully reconstructed by a diverse selection of talented artists, including Twice Dark from Bloomington
Indiana, Paragon Cause from Ottawa, Canada, Dreaming of Islands from Malmo, Sweden and Gerald Josef, The Snipecatcher and Travis Trevisan (Tape Deck Mountain) from their home city of Nashville. Deconstructed promises to be an immersive journey for fans and newcomers alike.
The third single to be released from the album is a captivating remix of Palm Ghosts’ track “In Monochrome,” skillfully reimagined by Ottawa, Ontario band Paragon Cause. Known for their unique take on Brit Pop, Shoegaze and Goth. Paragon ’Cause’s remix elevates the haunting beauty of the original song, infusing it with their own distinctive artistic vision.
Palm Ghosts, fronted by singer-songwriter and producer Joseph Lekkas is “the sound of an 80s prom in a war zone…located in the dead heart of country music.” and has been making records since 2014. The band is a blend of dream-pop, shoegaze, and post-punk.
With their evocative lyricism and cinematic soundscapes, the band has garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim around the world.
