Last night, Toronto’s Opera House stage was graced by the iconic Alan Frew and his 80290 rewind show. With a repertoire spanning the cherished hits of the 80s alongside some of his personal favourites, Frew captivated the audience with a set list brimming with infectious, upbeat tunes that kept everyone singing and dancing throughout the night.
Accompanied by his talented band, Frew electrified the stage with blistering guitar solos, pulsating rhythms, and vocals that soared, leaving the audience spellbound by the sheer magnitude of his performance. Frew’s faithful rendition of the songs, true to their original form, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. From timeless classics like Glass Tiger’s Someday and Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone to legendary tracks such as U2’s Sanctuary, Tina Turner’s Simply the Best, and Midnight Oil’s Beds Are Burning, the night was a celebration of unforgettable music.
