Rubicini’s performance at The Painted Lady on Friday night showcased the young artist’s dedication to his music. The Toronto rapper displayed his range in full effect, going from rapping verses to singing melodies. Songs such as “Gold” and “No Way” stood out in the set due to their catchy hooks and direct tone. In the middle of the performance, Rubicini brought fellow Toronto rapper ibxrhm to the stage. His addition added an extra layer of merit to the overall performance. After switching to a more R&B-influenced vibe, the duo had the crowd singing their lyrics all the way until the end of their set. Rubicini’s stage presence and attempts to connect with the audience were undeniable, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in Toronto’s music scene.
