TONY HANNAH
LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT
INDEPENDENT

Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn (sadly, both gone now) left such a big legacy in what country music is today that for years (or even decades) it will be quite hard not to compare up and coming female country singers to these two.
And the comparisons are surely there when we consider Tony Hannah and her most recent album, Love it or Leave It. Hannah definitely goes for that mainstream country pop sound that Parton and Lynn practically created, a sound that will certainly appeal to fans of all country music sub-genres, particularly those that are weaned on the current take on it the one that makes sure that every song has been detailed to perfection. From songwriting, to performance, arrangements and production, nothing must go astray.
And it doesn’t here, as Hannah has the songwriting and performing ability such a concept requires, with covering a song by legendary country songwriter Art “AJ” Masters, her late uncle, certainly helping her cause.
