This fierce all-girl rock band, born from the spark of an eighth-grade talent show, is reissuing their 2004 album Gold Medal on February 7, 2025. The gold smokey vinyl LP embraces a groovier 70s rock vibe, blending sultry melodies with a dash of hair metal flair that lets you know The Donnas have ditched the punkette image for good and are daring to flip the bird to anyone who underestimated them.

The bold album fell off Billboard’s radar after a whopping $13,000 in first-week sales. But don’t let that fool you—this album is a hidden, underrated treasure that deserves its moment in the spotlight.

Tracks include “Fall Behind Me,” a song that portrays strength and was the anthem for the 2006 U.S. Women’s Olympic Snowboarding Team.
