There’s this tradition running in modern pop rock all the way from sixties sunshine pop through Sarah Records artist to more modern times with Belle and Sebastian and Camera Obscura, that some not so favorable thinking rock critics have labeled as softies.

But with all such sarcasm and scorn, not only has this tradition persisted, but has produced some brilliant, sophisticated music, softie or not. Add to that tradition New Jersey’s Lightheaded, who already have five releases behind them, including their latest Thinking, Dreaming, Scheming! It is a combination of five newly recorded songs with the five tracks from Good Good Great!, their debut cassette-only EP.
