Joe Cardamone has been a fixture on the Los Angeles underground music scene for a while now, as he fronted for the post-punkers, The Icarus Line, for 17 years or so.

His series of solo projects took another musical turn, as he dived deep into more experimental musical waters, coming up with some darkly coloured music that could both scare and lull you at the same time. The pinnacle of these solo projects was his QUARENTINA album, released back in 2021.

There, Cardamone presented 19 mainly brief musical vignettes, which he accompanied with a series of equally intriguing film clips.

Three years later, Cardamone decided to expand QUARENTINA with 11 equally captivating songs with the concluding song, “Closing Remarks”, being the only one that surpasses four minutes.

Yet, the brevity of the music and lyrics only add to the intensity and quality of what Cardamone has presented here, making this expanded edition something quite new and fresh.
