It has become a sort of a tradition for artists to pick more than one role in the creation of their art, and in this case, music. So, it might come as no surprise thar Los Angeles singer/songwriter Andrew Pelletier, aka Fur Trader, is also a multi-instrumentalist and producer, who has just come up with his new album Whose Dream Is This.

With projects where a single artist takes on practically all of the roles himself, as Pelletier does here, there is a distinct possibility that at some point, something might turn out sub-par or lacking, particularly if you are trying to create a folky side of baroque pop, as Pelletier is doing on this album.

Pelletier’s music here is of such high quality that it truly qualifies to carry that baroque pop tag, folk or no folk.
