D.A. STERN
DON’T TAKE YOUR HEARTACHE OUT ON THE WORLD
SYMPHONIC/MISRA
The art of good and/or excellent pop rock has not been lost in modern music, and New Jersey to Los Angeles singer songwriter D. A. Stern is here to prove it with his latest album Don’t Take Your Heartache Out on The World.
Stern is one of those artists who obviously has quite a well-chosen record collection that ranges from Elvis Costello and Todd Rundgren to Big Star, R.E.M and some doo-wop to boot, too.
It is all in Stern’s ability to assimilate all these influences, pick and choose, then assemble them into something that presents his music in an individual light. And he is able to do that throughout this album by himself or with the help of few guests, who give the album that extra touch to make it stand out.
