Liverpool UK singer/songwriter Banners is fascinated by dreams, life, death, hope and despair.
Following his single “Start A Riot” in 2015, which has over 50 million global Spotify streams, Banners is celebrating the release of his second EP Empires on Fire with performances in L.A. and New York.
Empires On Fire offers up a stream of five vocally based tracks, including the song “Into The Storm,” which I first heard on a local radio station, and the superb current single”Someone To You.”
Growing up singing in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Choir, the EP features songs by Banners that are influenced by the likes of Jeff Buckley and Arcade Fire. Other key cut on Empires on Fire include the infectious “Firefly” and the title track.
