MARC McLAUGHLIN – ALL I CAN SAY
A SPILL EXCLUSIVE ALBUM PREMIERE
New Brunswick’s Marc McLaughlin shares his new EP, All I Can Say, along with March tour dates throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. Crafting a reflective and intricately melodic world, All I Can Say is built on themes of uncertainty, introspection, and the consequences of choice. Showcasing McLaughlin’s evolution as an artist while staying true to his signature melodic style, the EP (out 02/18) explores existentialism, embracing the unsaid and the emotional nuances that come with living in an unpredictable world.
ARTIST QUOTE
“This EP reflects on the experiences of young adulthood, shaped by my roots in rural Newfoundland and nearly seven years of living away,” said Marc McLaughlin (he/him). “The songs are guided by imagery from home—evoking the sea, wind, and sun—while exploring themes of connection, miscommunication, and distance. At its core, the EP grapples with the ways we struggle to express ourselves and the silences that can grow between us. Ultimately, the songs embrace the uncertainties of life and relationships, finding meaning in the complexity and beauty in the lack of answers.”
