Paul van Dyk’s This World Is Ours is a bold and reflective album that sees the legendary German producer fusing emotive trance with commentary on AI and the human condition. Thirty years into his career, van Dyk doesn’t just revisit past triumphs—he reframes them for a more anxious, data-driven world.

The album spans 15 tracks, blending cinematic soundscapes and peak-time energy. Standout tracks include the immersive “Against The Algorithm” with John 00 Fleming, the percussive, late-night intensity of “Back 2 The FVTR” with The YellowHeads, and the glistening, euphoric “Beautiful” featuring Julia Westlin—a cinematic anthem anchored by stunning vocals. “Two Rivers” with Rafael Osmo reflects the album’s central tension between organic emotion and electronic control.
