BROWN ACID: THE NINETEENTH TRIP
RIDINGEASY RECORDS
You may have been taking this trip into the seemingly endless depths of very very heavy psych rock, hard rock, and proto metal from the late ’60s and early ’70s, with or without use of real brown acid, now in its 19th incarnation.
And if you think that people at RidingEasy Records have exhausted their vaults and/or resources from which they keep on coming up with new, very old heavies, you are wrong.
As is the case with any compilation of such archival character, the recording quality, or that of the original tape or record itself, varies. At the same time, it just might be useless to discuss the quality of the music itself. You are either into this stuff or you are not, and as was the case with the previous 18 installments, there will certainly be tracks that you will love, and those that you will not care much about.
Yet the key lies in the fact that these compilations need to exist as they have immense value.
