Facts first – Thanks For Coming is the songwriting project of Rachel Brown (they/them), one half of the duo Water From Your Eyes. Her PR notes that Brown Started recording music alone in Chicago during high school, that was kept as a secret.

Well, it seems that secret is out now. While Brown currently has as many releases as four or five artists together, they have not grown tired and weary, nor did they hide that under a euphemism like ‘seasoned,’ but have kept that youthful exuberance when you start creating, inventing and making your own music.

It is something that you can surely feel through the eight songs here, which feature just Brown, their (sometimes overdubbed) vocals and electric guitar, but with enough creativity that some other artist cannot muster even in one single.
