The highly anticipated album from Girls Under Glass embodies a captivating fusion of sinister, dark, gothic, and metal musical stylings. What initially began as an EP turned into a fully realized album. Backdraft presents an intriguing combination of gothic rock and electronic punk, a rare feat accomplished by few bands. While the lyrics may not delve into deeply personal territories, they certainly reflect the prevailing issues of our time.

The skillful implementation of synths and acid beats is particularly noteworthy, especially in the electrifying tracks “We Feel Alright” and “Tanz im Neonlicht”.
