The Blushes are three life-long best friends forever from Los Angeles, California. Taking to the stage with sweet bows and frills, these three Southern California sweethearts quickly electrify the room with a surprising rawness, calling back the excitement of the early 90βs West Coast music scene. Setting out to inject joy, glitter and hardcore girliness into alternative rock, The Blushes walk in the footsteps of foremothers Bikini Kill, The Shangra-Las, Babes in Toyland, Poly Styrene, Courtney Love, Patti Smith and the Spice Girls – defining theyβre version of intersectional punk-feminism within the Southern California landscape
Our third, ‘Blurry Eyes,’ single is all set to be released on Valentine’s Day across all streaming platforms. It’s a song about the hundreds of tears that are shed on the road to being OK. That you can be broken, blurry and bent – and you’re still valid, seen and loved.
