HOLBROOK – “HELLO ANGEL”
A Spill Exclusive Music Premiere
Holbrook is a Paris based project created by singer-songwriter Ali Chafik and drummer Arnaud Jacques. Influenced by indie music in all its diversity, the group composes dreamlike , dark, mystic and hopeful songs accompanied with carefully constructed musical arrangements and sounds.
On stage, Holbrook offers outstanding live performances accompanied by three other musicians that have since joined the band including Nychollas Medeiros (guitars).
To date Holbrook has released an EP, “Kiss the Astronaut” (2014), and an album “The Great Riot” (2016) which includes the video single ” Pigeons and Rats “. The band is about to release a brand new EP entitled “Hello Angel” that will be released in early 2017.
Influences: Radiohead, Matthew Good, Bat For Lashes, The Smiths, Fka Twigs, Joy Division.
