Juno Award-winning vocalist Diana Panton delivers again, bringing her childlike, sensitive voice to 15 classic songs geared toward bringing jazz to the whole family.

Backed by her team of Canadian bass/piano/vibes legend Don Thompson, guitarist Reg Schwager, and occasional cello work by Coenraad Bloemendal, this collection of 15 songs is perfectly executed with a sense of magic, innocence, charm and delight that rivals in excellence the original interpretation of these family classics.

These classics come together from the likes of such films as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (“Pure Imagination”), Disney’s Pinocchio (“When You Wish Upon a Star”) and Alice in Wonderland (“Alice in Wonderland”), The Muppets (“The Rainbow Connection”) and a host of lullabies (“Slumber My Darling” and Panton’s original “Sleep is a Precious Thing). With her signature delivery, impeccable diction, and a girl-next-door quality to her voice, Ms. Panton has created a family album that will surely win fans young and old alike to her impeccable talents.

The accompaniment by Thompson and Schwager is very in sync, tight, and does its very best to not overwhelm Panton’s voice or the overall mood of the family album.
