BRASS CAMEL – “ICE COLD”
A SPILL EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE
Vancouver rock band Brass Camel releases “Ice Cold,” a fierce musing on life in the far north. Sparked by a deep dive into documentaries about Arctic communities, the song reflects a distinctively Canadian resilience. Unable to travel to the frozen tundra, but never ones to shy away from cold, Brass Camel leaned into the next best thing for the accompanying music video. The band laced up and took to the ice at a local hockey rink, putting the song’s themes into motion. Set for release in spring 2026, the new album distills three years of touring, writing, and shared momentum into the most fully realized version of Brass Camel yet. “Ice Cold” serves as the puck drop of that next chapter.
ARTIST QUOTE
“We would have loved to film in the Arctic Circle, but that was a full 10 lines of latitude further than our budget would allow,” the band explains, “so we decided that the best way to figuratively keep our sticks on the ice was to literally lace up and hit the rink.”
