THE DIRTY NIL
LIVE AT THE DINE ALONE STORE
DINE ALONE RECORDS

Having wrapped up their Canadian tour in support of their sixth full-length studio EP, The Lash, The Dirty Nil is closing out their 2025 with Live At The Dine Alone Store. The live record was recorded at Dine Alone Records on July 4, 2025, just weeks before The Lash would drop, and was previously released just a week ago as a Dine Alone Records’ Record Store Day exclusive, limited to only three-hundred copies.
Live At The Dine Alone Store opens to the thunderous roar of Luke Bentham’s throaty vocals, following a wave of feedback and wailing guitars as the power trio kicks into “Gallop Of The Hounds.” Sounding like a band twice their size, The Dirty Nil wastes no time as they head into “Zombie Eyed” and “Do You Want Me,” as they usher in a set of material from The Lash alongside classics.
Over the course of its 13 tracks, The Dirty Nil delivers a blisteringly raw performance akin to that of classic punk. Live At The Dine Alone Store is a visceral album that ebbs and flows with the energy of each track naturally. As such, the bombast of their performance is infectious as they blast through a powerful set, despite the intimate setting of a record shop. Even through the bumps, the band remains tightly knit together while keeping things loose, furthering that punk authenticity at the core of The Dirty Nil. Highlights include “Rock N Roll Band,” “Fail In Time,” and the closing “Doom Boy.”
The Dirty Nil remains a band that thrives on the stage. The live context truly brings the stripped down and gritty tone of The Lash to life as The Dirty Nil continues to demonstrate themselves as bonafide punk rockers. Performing a bulk of their newest studio album, Live At The Dine Alone Store soars as a celebration of both their new music and a momentous year as The Dirty Nil continues to prove themselves among Canada’s most thrilling punk rock outfits.
