SEDONA
GETTING INTO HEAVEN
INDEPENDENT

If you are a Los Angeles singer-songwriter through and through and you are coming up with your debut album, it just might come as no surprise that your music just might be a combination between 70s Laurel Canyon sound and prime Fleetwood Mac pop.
Of course, such a combination could lead to something everybody’s heard before if you are simply just citing your sources, but if it works and you have not only updated those sounds but have given it at least a touch of your own personality it just might bring some serious enjoyment to the listeners.
And that is exactly what L.A.’s Sedona does on her debut Getting Into Heaven – she takes that Laurel Canyon base, brings in a hefty dose of Fleetwood Mac pop, and then adds those touches of current Nashville sound to its Americana artists, and voila, we get something that sounds both something we are so familiar with some quality fresh touches to make it sound quite new at the same time.
