We’re coming to you a little early this year with good news, good music and great vibes. 2023 is going to be excellent, POP Montreal is back in style with a BIG TIME sneak peek at a stunning line-up filled with excellent music and next-level artists. We are thrilled to host amongst others the legendary diva Candi Staton for a special show on her farewell tour, along with the iconoclastic folk troubadour Bonnie “Prince” Billy, the rainbow rap goddess Junglepussy and the transcendent public intellectual Dr. Cornel West. About POP Montréal
Launched in 2002 by friends and colleagues who had the desire to create an important and unifying cultural festival, POP Montreal is now entering its 22nd year as an integral part of the Montreal festival circuit and the international music world. Taking place in a bilingual environment, each edition offers an eclectic program of 200+ multidisciplinary artists, including 150+ musical artists and 50+ Quebec musicians to more than 45,000 spectators during 5 days. The 22nd edition of the festival will be held from September 27 to October 1, 2023.
During the day, POP presents mostly free events including barbecues, conferences, films, exhibitions, craft fairs, and indoor and outdoor concerts. In the evening, the festival presents dozens of concerts, openings, film premieres and special events.
